Supporters across the globe united with local residents in jubilation, marking the first time in a quarter-century that a team has secured back-to-back championships.
Victory Parade Attracts Massive Crowds
Los Angeles area celebrations included a procession through the city center on Monday morning, a ticketed rally at Dodger Stadium, and spontaneous parties across the city.
Online footage show thousands of Angelenos packing city center avenues, many carrying handmade banners and Dodger flags. The squad was seen riding high on a double-decker bus through the masses, raising the Commissioner’s trophy high.
